New MenuRib Room Unveils its New Menu

As we prepare to celebrate our 50th Anniversary, we have updated our brunch, lunch and dinner menus with a combination of new recipes and old favorites. Check out the Andouille Corndog appetizer (a favorite at the July Sips dinner), Grilled Pork Chop, Pan Roasted Atlantic Salmon and a “create your own” catfish—cooked and topped to your particular specifications. Rest assured…favorites such as our namesake Prime Rib remain a cornerstone of our menu, along with Chef Spizale’s Mac & Cheese and Turtle Soup. And back by popular demand, the famous Rib Room Rib Burger returns to the lunch menu with house cut sea salted fries.

Chef Anthony SpizaleChef Anthony Continues to be Recognized for Leadership, Culinary Ability

When Louisiana Cookin’ honors its 2010 “Chefs to Watch” at its August 16th dinner, veteran chef Anthony Spizale will be in the kitchen to help the five young chefs create and plate their favorite recipes. This is the second year that Chef Anthony has been asked to help the dinner flow smoothly.

Chef Anthony was also selected to sit on the advisory board for Jazzmen Rice. Last month Chef attended a field trip to the rice fields in Crowley, LA and will continue to advise the company on marketing and developing recipes for the aromatic product. Chef is also developing recipes utilizing Jazzmen rice for the September 16th Sips in the City dinner. Visit The Rib Room online for updated information & menu.

Although Louisiana seafood remains safe and delicious, the industry has undoubtedly taken a hit from the BP oil spill. In a show of support and confidence in the best tasting, highest quality seafood around, the Rib Room has centered its August Sips in the City dinner on Louisiana seafood. Paired with wines from Trinchero Family Estates, the four courses represent a variety of our seafood bounty: blue crab, shrimp and fish.
